Reproduction / Incubation Unit

In order to house its breeding ducks, Marinhave has 12 pavilions at Herdade dos Vinagres with a total of close to 12,000 squared metres of indoor facilities.
The incubation centre has a capacity for 280,000 eggs.

Production Unit

The production unit located at the westernmost point of the property currently has thirty-nine breeding pavilions, with a total of close to 70,000 squared metres of indoor premises, with a capacity to fatten 270,000 ducks.

Slaughterhouse

The slaughterhouse is situated at the westernmost point of the property, next to national road no. 119, where presently Marinhave slaughters approximately 9,000 ducks/day. However, the capacity of its slaughterhouse is far from full and slaughtering can easily reach 20,000 ducks/day.

Distribution

Marinhave, Sociedade Agro-Avícola, S.A. is equipped with its own fleet that secures distribution over all national territory.

Feather Factory

Marinhave has a continuous production unit in the slaughterhouse for its duck feather process with two lines for washing, drying and selecting feathers by category. All this production is exported.
